Terms & Conditions - in connection with hire of Community Centre
It is essential you read these notes-you are the legal guardian of the building for the duration of hire.
The Hirer must be an individual, not a group, club, or association
The Hirer must be over the age of 18
The Hirer will not be expected to unlock or lock the premises, to disarm or reset the burglar / fire alarm system.
The Hirer will be solely responsible for the premises and for the conduct of users of the facility. lt is essential that all users conduct themselves in an acceptable manner, particularly -
The Hirer will be expected to leave the building as she/he found it including washing up dishes, etc. if the Kitchen has been used.
The Hirer will be generally invoiced at the end of the calendar month for which the hire applies, and payment is to be made within 14 days of that invoice.
The Hirer or users shall not tamper with or interfere with the boiler or its settings, radiator settings, the alarm systems, hand drier or extract fan controls, grease trap, electrical distribution boards, or other similar equipment. The Hirer or users shall not attempt to enter the roof spaces.
At the conclusion of the hire period the Hirer shall ensure that all doors and windows are shut. (The front entrance door
will be locked by others)
Opening Times
09:00-23:30 Hours-Available for hire every day of the year
Please note -the setting up and clearing away time must be included in the overall hire period booked. (i.e. you will be invoiced for the overall length of time required for use of the building-even if this extends into two days). Should the hire period be exceeded we reserve the right to invoice the actual hire time.
Wedding Receptions, parties, or similar events - payment may be required in advance together with a deposit (refundable)
A discount of 20% may be deducted from the above rates for hires involving local groups/associations, and non- profit making local groups.
